Nybelwyck Hall
MINI friends add to your MINI Bucket List! Yonkers, NY here I come! I can't believe this is the first time I am reading about this stunning dollhouse! Nybelwyck Hall created by dollhouse enthusiast Mark O’Banks and gifted to the Hudson River Museum in 2006,is unique for both design and for the glimpse it gives of a dollhouse family—the Van Nybelwycks. Just to tantalize you into going and reading about this phenom of a dollhouse-the name Van Nybelwyck Hall is Dutch-sounding, like other Hudson Valley names, but it was invented by O’Banks when he consulted a oujia board!
Before you head over to my website to shop (see how gracefully I slid a commercial into this post?!), take a few minutes to get your MINI juices flowing and check out the story and photos:http://www.hrm.org/collections/nybelwyck.html
