November is Native American Heritage Month. I showed this photo once before; however, I thought with the month's National tribute and the upcoming historical AmericanThanksgiving, you may enjoy seeing it once again. This vintage photo shows us that miniature dollhouses are a part of every culture! The miniature teepees are perfect imitations of the girls' homes. The beauty of miniatures is not only timeless, it shows no boundaries! Visit the site today and do a bit of shopping. I appreciate your MINI business! ~judy www.justminiaturescale.com
Here is another unusual tidbit of history
involving a dollhouse. Tsianina Redfeather Blackstone, an American
Indian princess who sang on the Metropolitan Opera stage,
sang on the battlefields of France during World War I, and was a
mainstream performer in the 1920's on radio, is shown in one of the few
casual photos of herself, and yes, it is with a dollhouse! (I love that
many of you seem interested in my knowledge of dollhouses and
miniatures. The passion for learning stems from my mom. She let us
explore libraries and museums endlessly. I would appreciate you showing
your support of my page by visiting my website as well!) www.justminiaturescale.com ~judy
