Ok we are lightening up the creep factor with
today’s haunted dollhouse post. If you are old enough to remember the
iconic character of Herman Munster in the 1960’s, who stomped his
gigantic foot and shouted, “Darn. Darn. Darn. Darn”, you will
recognize this famous house on 1313 Mockingbird Lane! This miniature
version of The Munsters’ spooky abode was used in the remake television
series filmed in the late 1980’s, where its expert modeling design and
lighting made it appear real and life size on the small screen. The
model is on display at Universal Studios. Once again, miniatures play a
role in storytelling on and off the big (and little) screen. Enjoy!
