Miniatures and Jewelry

MINI Friends oftentimes we see that other art mediums make use of our beloved miniatures. Through the centuries jewelry artists have used minuscule objects in their craft. From Egyptian relics to contemporary creations, miniatures are often the topic for beautiful and unusual adornments.
I apologize for not giving credit to some creators; as I found some pics on Pinterest and I could not be completely sure of their origin. If you are inspired to create some jewelry using miniatures, please visit my site where you will find a HUGE selection of accessories and miniature hardware to use! ~judy www.justminiaturescale.com

You might not have the whole world in your hand, but at least now you can have a miniature fantasy world on your finger. Canadian jewelry maker, Secret Wood, creates these one-of-a-kind rings that contain little, secret worlds.

The ring is made by German artist Isabell Kiefhaber. How clever is the tape measure band?!

In the 80's and 90's I think every MINI enthusiast crafted a miniature scene in a pocket watch!

I love cookies....so why not where them too? I love the use of whimsy in this necklace!

Of course, when talking MINIS and jewelry we need to give homage to the classic story telling charm bracelet!

Love, love, love the intricacy of these earrings! Who would have thought that the crystal knobs would glitter on someone's ears?!
