Whitledge Burgess Workshop

I am pleased to announce for the 6th year Ray Whitledge and Scott Burgess will be in my shop to teach.  These premier artists are innovative and well schooled in the creation of miniature rooms.  #10 Bond Street will be the class this year and I would love to have any of you come that are able to attend.  It not only will be a fabulous class experience; but, you can see my shop as well!  Many thanks to Sophia Twaddle for sharing her amazing photos of the original room.  Sophia also has photos of the Georgian Shop and the Home for the Holidays boxes she created in classes.  Very worth taking a peek. http://smalltalk-minilover.blogspot.com

Join us for the second in a series of Georgian inspired retail shops. Classic architectural details will allow each student to furnish this space with items ranging from jewelry, to china and silver, to fine pastry.  At the center of this roombox is the shop’s entrance door which opens into a neoclassic inspired gallery with a raised coffered ceiling, columns, and an intricate faux marble floor.  Flanking this gallery are two sales areas, each featuring faux marble floors and complementary wallcoverings.  Each space incorporates a generous number of recessed, lighted, display cases with adjustable glass shelves and mirrored backs to showcase the shop’s merchandise.
