The Pinnacle of Diminutive Perfection

Perhaps the most famous dollhouse of the world is Queen Mary’s Dollhouse (btw #7 on my MINI bucket List to experience).  There is a ton of information and photos available about this wonderful masterpiece; so I will allow you to discover more on your own.  However, here is a bit of a tease: The depiction of Royal life includes hot and cold running water, flushable toilets, electricity, and even a working elevator; a wine cellar filled with wine from vintners around the world, a library filled with books written by 600 authors including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s handwritten and hand delivered offering, real jewels mimicking the Royal Coffers, China contributed by the finest china makers, original paintings gifted by famous artists, and more! In fact over 1500 people were involved in outfitting this remarkable abode.  It is well worth a sit down to study all you can find on this amazing example of the pinnacle of our hobby.  Enjoy!  ~judy  www.justminiaturescale.com
